I don’t think it’s for everyone. I worked for myself for over 15yrs, and was ready to return to an office to work, mainly for a regular wage and paid holiday/sick pay. So when Covid hit and everyone went to work from home, I was already used to setting hours, and being in a routine. I had to be strict with myself, it’s easy to be sidetracked. So I would work the same 9-5 hours, and would make time up if I had something on through the day. I felt I was more productive as I could afford a bit more time to finish tasks instead of commuting.
