i supported 110 because I don't wany bloat on the network. sure there's ways around it, but if I run a node now I am at risk of prosecution should some cunt put material yhats illegal in my jurisdiction. the problem is it might be legal where they are but not where I am so it doesn't even require bad actors. and trust me, the authorities where I am are just itching for an excuse to jump all over bitcoiners.
i dont agree with some 110 proponents that its failure is a death knell for bitcoin, but it certainly raises concerns for node runners.
all I heard from the anti- brigade was that 110 doesn't actually solve the spam issue and thats probably right. but they never offered an alternative proposal.
