I just don’t use android that much, i barely have enough time to maintain ios since its revenue is basically 0 and noone subscribes anymore

That is the part zaps don't pay for. Android means a second UI stack, a second store review, a second set of device quirks, all on the same flat revenue. Better to keep the iOS client small enough to maintain in days than to open a second front.
