Oddly enough, the most pro-nostr and the most anti-nostr factions on the internet that I've come across are *both* made up of bitcoin people.

Bitcoin devs use a fucking GOOGLE group for a mailing list... That alone says a lot.

As humans we naturally tend to argue FOR what we believe in by arguing AGAINST the opposing view, because it brings comfort to know what we do/say/believe in is true/right. Thats why I think that being open to changing your mind on ideas when provided with sound evidence is a skill that most of us...
