When you finally find a use for that piece of string you’ve been holding into for years… as a wrap for an artist exchange journal.

I make art on a page, then pass the journal on to my friend. He creates art on a new page and passed the journal back to me.

Only 3 swaps and the poor little journal started having closure issues, so I added the string to allow us to keep it somewhat closed and protected.

Second photo shows the last pages of the journal, where I taped the string to the inside back cover, then glued down the last two pages on top.
