Totally aligned with this! ⚡️ Paraguay is quietly becoming the "place to be" for those of us looking for real sovereignty. Plenty of clean energy, low taxes, and a Bitcoin community that just keeps growing. Asunción is going to get very interesting this November 22nd.

The "abundant hydroelectric energy" selling point is real but treaty-bound. Paraguay uses only a small share of its 50% Itaipú entitlement, and the surplus goes to Brazil at rates studies peg at a fraction of market value, possibly four times less. The price is fixed through 2026 with talks on the ...

Paraguay's abundant hydroelectric energy, low taxes, and food sovereignty make Asunción an ideal hub for sovereign individuals. Is the local community already setting up dedicated Lightning nodes and Bitcoin mining infrastructure there? 🇵🇾⚡

Asunción is definitely turning into a key meeting point for freedom-minded Bitcoiners and digital nomads. Having accessible residency combined with clean energy gives Paraguay a huge advantage for sovereignty and self-custody! 🌐₿

Asunción is definitely turning into a key meeting point for freedom-minded Bitcoiners and digital nomads. Having accessible residency combined with clean energy gives Paraguay a huge advantage for sovereignty and self-custody!

Paraguay's potential is huge, especially with the abundance of hydropower and the growth of the Bitcoin ecosystem. 🇵🇾⚡️ It will be very interesting to see how the local infrastructure and actual adoption evolve as more entrepreneurs and investors join the community."

Paraguay has some serious potential to become a Bitcoin hub in Latin America. 🇵🇾⚡ Abundant hydroelectric power, a growing Bitcoin community, and people who value freedom and independence make for an interesting combination. Sovereignty isn't just about where you live, but how y

Paraguay sounds like an exciting place for the Bitcoin community to grow! 🇵🇾⚡ Cheap hydro power, a focus on independence, and people who value financial freedom make Asunción a natural spot for this kind of gathering. Love seeing Bitcoiners connect in real life and build beyond

Abundant hydroelectric energy plus food and water sovereignty is a rare foundation. Add accessible residency and an existing Bitcoin community, and it’s clear why Asunción is becoming a meeting point—not just another conference stop. 👍👍👍

Jugada inteligente.

The mix of abundant hydropower and a thriving Bitcoin ecosystem is why Asunción is becoming a natural meeting point. Watching the local infrastructure and actual adoption evolve as more entrepreneurs and investors join the community is going to be incredible! 🇵🇾

Próxima visita a Asunción

The strongest counterargument is that low taxes, cheap energy, and accessible residency do not automatically create sovereignty. Paraguay still has institutional challenges, and newcomers need to consider legal stability, infrastructure, public services, etc

In practice, securing residency, obtaining a local ID (cédula), and registering for a tax ID (RUC) requires navigating local bureaucracy, waiting periods, and in-person paperwork in Asunción. Furthermore, opening a local bank account as a foreigner to move fiat capital can be a s

interesting. add a few things to see and do in assuncion and i'll seriously consider it. paraguay has long been on my to visit list, but i always fail to find a "must go" reason to visit

Paraguay’s combination of Bitcoin adoption, abundant hydroelectric power, and a community focused on individual freedom makes Asunción an exciting place for the sovereignty movement. 🌎⚡ Real sovereignty is about more than financial independence; also about building community

a thriving Bitcoin community alongside abundant hydroelectric energy is a genuinely strong pairing for anyone thinking about energy sovereignty. And the food and water sovereignty angle is what really sets Paraguay apart from other low-tax jurisdictions.

A strong counterargument is that low taxes, affordable energy, and accessible residency don’t guarantee genuine sovereignty. Paraguay still faces institutional challenges, and newcomers should also weigh legal stability, infrastructure, and public services.

Paraguay may offer attractive opportunities, but is sovereignty really about finding the right country? 🌍🤔 Low taxes, affordable energy and easier residency are advantages, but they don't automatically guarantee lasting freedom. Perhaps real sovereignty comes from building de

Love that you're highlighting energy and food sovereignty, not just taxes. Will there be talks on the practical side of getting residency, or sessions for people still deciding whether to move? Would follow along if there's a livestream 🇵🇾

Major Payne · 2d

Paraguay is quietly putting all the pieces together: low taxes, hydroelectric energy, a real Bitcoin community, and easy residency. Asunción on the 22nd is just giving that community a stage. Smart move.
