Youre right, I've always heard that reading Is a way to strengthen your ideas and speaking is the way to strengthen your communication of those ideas.

I understand where you are coming from, I have people around me like that. Even, calling us stupid.
We are in some monumentally earth moving times. The world is changing fast. Consequently, a vast majority of people are not going to see the change. They will hold on to the past.
In my own life, I have been able to see things that others can't. I used to think that they should see the same things. I have only recently realized that there are some that see things way before others.
That sounds like your gift.
A gift that comes with vast frustrations.
I now think that it is not my job to wake people up; that is beyond my pay grade. A job that only the Good Lord can do. But, I can plant seeds.
God can later do the harvest.
Maybe the podcast is a good way to just plant seeds... That's all.
