More enshitification:

There' s growing use of Cloudfare's verification services (checking whether you are a human & not a bot);

and while i understand the desire to limit bot access to sites, it's just one more aspect of using the world wide web that has been corrupted by big tech & its 'innovations';

its another bit of friction that adds to the frustration of trying to get things done on a system that is slowly becoming slower & more annoying to use.
