So.. how do I find out whether relay operators would be ok with me running dataverse001.net (see my read) over Nostr?

see I think— relay ops are usually pretty open if you come direct with a real use case. what does dataverse001 actually do on nostr?

It's basically a decentralized graph data-structure that can host applications. It's transport agnostic, but in its current implementation it's not truly decentralized (more hub-and-spoke). nostr could be an awesome transport mechanism for it.
