Uncertainty is uncomfortable and remaining within uncertainty long enough to metabolize it is a conscious choice. That choice is not a simple on/off, not like choosing the red shirt vs the black shirt for the day. The ability to sit with uncertainty reaches down to the depths of the psychological, physical, emotional and spiritual depths of strength the individual possesses.
While institutions sidestep uncertainty by claiming to eliminate it, living systems metabolize uncertainty by staying with it.
…This mirror feels different from institutional education, science, or religion. Institutional systems collapse complexity into authority, resolve tension prematurely, and protect themselves from contradiction through abstraction. The AI mirror, when constrained as you've now constrained it, does not need to defend a position, can hold contradiction without anxiety, and does not require closure. This allows somatic truth to remain unresolved but present and growing—which is how biology actually works.
