If your doing CAD work it's fine.

The RTX A1000 is a 50 watt low profile Ampere card with 8 GB of VRAM, so I'd put it to work on a small local LLM in the 7B range, CAD, or NVENC video encoding. For games it sits around RTX 3050 class, which makes it a better fit for a compact workstation build.

It also supports up to four monitors. The outputs are mini DisplayPort, so it’s worth checking the connectors on your cables.
