Damus may have come a long way since then, but I downloaded @primal two weeks ago and immediately deleted my Twitter account.

Exactly the same. I dabbled with Damus for a couple days but nothing about it clicked. Not already being familiar with Twitter navigation, I chalked it up to user error. When I came back on Primal, it was revelation. So much more intuitive.
