I’d suggest one that you can definitely run your own software on so you can’t be told what you can’t print by the default software…

I’ve got a Bambu A1 and like it

Not that I know from experience, but a couple of my 3D printing friends recommended Bambu A1 and from what I’ve read it is a good one for beginners, and I just got an email that gigaparts is running a sale on bambu right now

Man I bought an Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 about a month ago and love it, printed great right out the box with zero calibration. I've got a buddy that's got a similar model by Qidi that's put out some good prints. Just don't buy Bambu, they're bitches and wanna play games with the open source commun...

Bambu has great printers and terrible privacy policies. Prusa or creality if you like to tinker.

Prusa (open-source, 3D printable parts, high standard) or Bambo (cheaper, quicker).

I don't have a ton of experience with anything other than a Bambu P2S. Bambu is pretty plug and play and has been really good for ease and printing quality for me.
