I've been building a PC for a family member.

7800X3D
2x16GB DDR5 6000MT/s CL36
Asus TUF B650-E

EXPO profile says 1.35 VDD and VDDQ for the RAM

and when I enable it, BIOS sets VSOC to 1.24V (pretty high) and yet UCLK is 1500MHz, implying 1:2 ratio...

so the memory controller cat hit 3000MHz even though it has 1.24V? really?

1.04V is the default VSOC btw Somewhat relatedly, enabling EXPO adds 8W to the idle CPU power draw, and increases temps under full load (prime95 smallFFTs + furmark on iGPU) by like 5°C. Even if I can't get UCLK to 3000MHz, surely it should be able to do 1500MHz at a way lower VSOC, since it's do...
