The most dangerous thing you'll ever tell yourself is "I'm just not good at that."

Because the truth is you were never born knowing anything. you learned to walk, talk, read, and every single skill you have right now. Everything else is just something you haven't learned yet.

The only real limit is whether you're willing to be bad at something long enough to get good at it.

It's important to know when you are not good at something too. If you think you are great when you suck, you'll never learn. You can improve, but first you need to be honest enough with yourself to get better. Sounds obvious, but so many people seem to get mad if they don't know something. I don't...

The most dangerous thing I ever told myself was "it would look sick to juggle those knives."

I was bad at the guitar for 20 years. I should've gone for 30? Sometimes it's best to cut your losses and move on.

The sweet spot is when you're bad enough to be frustrated but good enough to taste progress. What skill are you currently letting yourself be bad at?

Interesting... The most dangerous thing I've ever told myself is "I'm pretty sure it's just a fart". Either that or "Hmmm that didn't seem to do anything, I better take another one to make sure this is a fun evening".
