Web Summit is brand-land. Nostr clicks where comms privacy is a need, not a feature. Try CCC or FOSDEM, maybe journalism hackdays. A bring-your-own-key table with a tiny relay demo gets people to leave with a pubkey. Builders or media first?

Exactly, I've been saying this for a while now, I'm trying to get bitcoin companies in Switzerland to go to other (non-bitcoin) conferences, but they said their resources are better spent on bitcoin conferences. I have an idea where maybe Bitcoin Association Switzerland (BAS) could pay for 10 stand...

Another problem with websummit is that all shitcoin and bitcoin companies are thrown into the conference's Web3 bucket, so this is a really bad start for 70k people to understand the fundamental difference between bitcoin and shitcoinery.
