GM nostr! I have a... unique problem.

I GOT TOO MUCH WEED!!! 🙀

Like pounds and pounds... We grew some plants that got YUUUUGE this season and are absolutely packed and drooping with buds right now... but there's NO WAY we could ever harvest/trim/smoke it all.

I'd hate for it to go to the compost(!)– so reaching out here for ideas. Let me know if you have some creative ideas how to make use of this massive harvest. Plants are probably ±2 weeks or so from harvest. Anyone up for an impromptu trip to Maine to trim and process, or just come and take some of this bounty off my hands?? 🌿

Freeze it fresh instead of trying to dry cure pounds in a rush. Harvest, strip the fan leaves, break big buds into smaller pieces, bag it, and freeze it. Fresh frozen material runs straight into ice water hash with bubble bags later, and it keeps the loudest terpenes that way.

Holy shit!👀 Throw a ton of it in a washing machine with some gallons of pure alcohol (not the synthetic one) let it run for a while, catch the water, filter the water, let the alcohol evaporate and you have plenty of oil. Have to say I'm nit sure if this works well, never did it in a washing mach...
