I got moaned at the other day because my phone's on silent and I didn't answer a call.

Okay, fine.

But I've had a mobile for 28 years and for the last 25 of those years every phone has been on silent.

People should be used to it by now.

Same way here man… happens all the time… I even leave my phone screen facing down, which seems to annoy people as well…

can't remember when I last answered a call. whatever I'm doing is more important than your problem, I call you back when I get round to it.

By a boomer? I think the norm for Gen X and below is now to text first instead of just randomly calling someone. For a while, I couldn't handle the spam. I just sent all calls to VM and disabled VM so I never had to check it.
