You could substitute the beef with chicken maybe, or i sometimes use ground beef. Also, a pot of chili is always good. For stew, try changing up your veggies maybe. I like to add cilantro at the end of cooking stew, it adds a great flavor.

I’m a big fan of Pazole. A Mexican stew with chiles and hominy, it traditionally uses pork belly but it’s great with beef stew meat too.

Try making Boef Bourgogne. It's still a stew but fancier. Another thing to try is adding mushrooms and red wine. I love to make beef stew with rutabaga too.

Make a pot pie instead maybe. I made a beef and barley soup that was a hit here.

You can stew beef with peas. Add salt, onion, garlic and herbs.
