Months later, deleting twitter feels like ending a relationship with someone who’d once been an uplifting influence, but became a self-destructive, emotional vampire. You knew it wasn’t healthy, but you kept making excuses.

Until, finally, you’d had enough. You cut them out, and you don’t look back.

There is no need to delete - put it in cold store .... because if you deleted they will chase you death :-)

We are all seeking fulfillment and purpose. The problem is when people allow themselves to be manipulated in its pursuit. (Deep thought for the day.)

Same with me. Nostr only and I'm so happy for this

Same. I’ve just gone Nostr only. Twitter is the absolute worst

Deleting twitter was the best thing I did two weeks ago. I miss certain feeds but it certainly was outweighed by the toxic fumes I had to breath.

I deleted mine back in 2019 and went to Mastodon. Then last year i started mainly using Lemmy. I still have my mastodon, but its rarely used. I use Lemmy every day and nostr pretty frequently

Spot on. Afterwards, you wonder why you hung around for long.
