In late 2024 I upgraded my NAS from 4GB of RAM to 32GB because it was cheap and I figured I might as well since I'll be using the hardware for a while. Holy shit, what timing.

@nprofile1q... I just did 4GB->8GB in my NAS, but still a nice benefit for...$25? Whatever it was I paid.

Wish I'd picked up 64GB for my PC though. My oldest PC has a quad core CPU and 64GB of RAM because it's a show PC and having full RAM slots looks a lot nicer. I'm going to be re-activating it from retirement shortly. My ITX PCs are both 32GB and that's a bummer because 64GB kits are $800 at Microcenter.
