Big moment at Bitcoin Beans Cacao Farm - Winmakū

Our first cacao pods are coming through!

A big surprise! This tree was planted last October. It is a grafted tree purchased from a local nursery and I assumed had been in the bag for maybe a year.

I thought it would take one more year at least so this is a good sign, the soil is fertile, the tree is strong, the graft was highly successful, and the love and devotion to the land combined forces in a magical way.

That said, I shall trim them off so that the tree can continue to give energy to its growth phase and structure rather than producing a tiny harvest this first year.

The dream is well alive! There shall be cacao direct from my labour of love, my PoW WOW!
