Dusty boi

I installed Debian 12 on a 2017 Acer Travelmate. Now it is my ninja server, hosting radicale for calendar and contacts, immich for photos, syncthing for cloud storage, also DNS, bitcoin core and lightning (but I didn't open lightning channels yet). Really satisfying

Installation took a solid 35mins!

Wait, wait wait…you can do that? Is that one of the fixable macs with the dvd player & memory chips?

I installed Debian 13 on a 2012 Chromebook :) feels pretty cool to make it functional again.

We feel great satisfaction each time we refurbish a PC by turning it into a bitcoin node.

Debian on a 2003 power Mac , she ain't the fastest, but she runs 😎
