#Bitcoin is built on a consensus “trust but verify”, or Proof-of-Work.

Bitcoin was created to defend human rights & to RESTORE TRUST, because authoritarian governments systematically abuse trust, abuse power and weaponize banking data.

It is so easy to label with false claims #freedomtech when you enjoy privilege of western world as @harari_yuval and don’t need to use Bitcoin as the only tool against financial transnational repression.

I agree with most of what you said, except "trust, but verify". I would say "Don't! trust, verify". Huge difference, think about it..🫂🧡😊 Harari apparently doesn't know much about computers, networks, data or cryptography, and that's okay. So he should just shut up about #Bitcoin..😐

Also, preference is misleading. If you're starving to death you may have a preference for a piece of rancid maggot infested meat. Rather than eating dirt lol. "Don't trust, verify" is for grown-ups. #Bitcoin is for grown-ups..🧡😉

Yuval’s got it backwards. #Bitcoin enables the trust and cooperation central to his #Sapiens thesis to reach higher levels and more sophisticated human development compared to #fiat (just like money improved cooperation over barter).
