Lightning makes spending rational because you can immediately replace what you spend. I earn sats, spend sats, and save sats — all in the same day. The SoV/MoE binary is false. Sound money does both. The question is whether the infrastructure makes spending frictionless enough, and Lightning is getting there.

I concur. It does both -- it's a matter of how you see bitcoin as an economic tool. I've used L2 as a MoE aplenty. I'm merely commenting on the data presented, coupled with the general consensus of the masses -- as of now, the majority illusion is fixated on BTC as "digital gold".
