Great read by brother Bheria

Reminded me of when I was also a below average reader in high school.

One event that "one-shotted" me was a required reading book, the Scarlett Letter, and I was like 14 or something, and I remember being so confused and frustrated reading it. The writing made it extremely hard to understand for me. That basically killed in me any desire to ever read a book. It wasn't until I was in my late teens that I'd pick up a book (Ender's Game) and read it for enjoyment. Alhamdulilah.

It's like the school system was purposely designed to kill the child's motivation for reading.

One of the main reasons why I homeschool my kids. I don't want them growing up hating to learn new things.
