There will always be workarounds for Bitcoin spam, like any other type of spam. That doesn’t mean we should give up on fighting spam.

Also, Ordinals themselves aren’t the most malicious type of spam that BIP-110 seeks to throttle.

Bitcoin Knots filters are up and running which actually should be the default to all Bitcoin nodes (except on the spammers ones).

1. We did not give up on fighting spam. We already have the only viable mechanism in place: small block size + fee market. 2. What point does it prove?
