Not at all. No firmware update can fix this. You need to move your funds. Your seed is tainted, you need to move it to a new seed that wasn’t generated by a coldcard

If you still trust CoinKite you need to update the firmware and only then generate a new seed to move funds to. Even better is to generate your own seed with enough dice rolls, add a strong passphrase and if you're comfortable with that, go multisig with high entropy seeds stored on devices by diff...

assuming you mean move it to a new wallet generated with new firmware. But then again are you trusting that firmware works? At this point dice rolls and passphrase in the short term and multi sig multi vendor in the long term.
