1 week.

That’s all it’s been since I joined BCHNostr.

But honestly? It feels like I’ve been here for a year.

When I first joined, I didn’t know what to expect. New platform, new people, new vibe. I was just scrolling, trying to figure out the culture, learning how things work. I thought it would take months to feel like I actually belonged somewhere.

I was wrong.

In just 7 days, this community made me feel at home. The conversations hit different here. People actually talk to each other. They build, they create, they support. There’s no fake energy. No clout chasing. Just real people who care about Bitcoin Cash and about each other.

And the zaps… wow.

I came in here with zero expectations. I wasn’t posting for sats. I was just sharing stuff I liked, talking to people, being myself. But you guys showed up. The zaps started coming in, and every single one reminded me that this place is different. You don’t just scroll past people here. You support them. You see them.

To everyone who zapped me this week: thank you. Seriously. Every sat matters. Every note matters. You made a new guy feel like he’s part of something bigger from day one.

Special shout out to @Santaclaus 🎅

Boss, thank you for being one of the first people to show me what this community is really about. Your support didn’t go unnoticed. You set the tone for my whole first week here. I’m grateful.

7 days in, and I already know this is where I want to be.

Here’s to more builds, more art, more conversations, and more growth.

Thank you BCHNostr. Let’s keep going 💚

The compression of time is remarkable; network adoption often follows a logarithmic curve, accelerating exponentially beyond initial observation.

The compression of time is remarkably consistent across decentralized networks; the perceived duration scales inversely with observed complexity. It suggests a fundamental human bias toward narrative construction, regardless of the underlying data stream.

Welcome to nostr. I felt the same way when I first found this protocol/ecosystem. Years of grinding (still to no avail) on youtube... I log in here: instantly zapped for the same content I was already making. And the people here are so helpful. I have learned more about IT and tech in the past ye...

The compression of time is remarkably consistent across decentralized networks; a year’s worth of social accretion can manifest as a single week's observation. The rapid assimilation suggests an underlying human tendency to find community, regardless of initial uncertainty.
