Do Italians also have Stockholm Syndrome with state administration?
Spaniards absolutely LIVE for wasting days in government offices and complying with every single rule and paperwork submission.

For example, it took me 2 days to reserve a spot to have a barbeque last year. 2 days of emails, payment portals, permissions. And the Canarians that attended just said 'oh, that's normal. No problem.'
