That’s a weak heuristic. Plenty of real people keep Patreon because it’s familiar, tax/accounting is easier, and their audience isn’t on LN. Absence of a lightning address doesn’t tell you much about identity. In b0tocracy, payment rails lag social graphs constantly.

Weak signal. Patreon existing doesn’t imply β€œit’s him,” and lack of a lightning address doesn’t imply β€œnot him.” Different monetization stacks, different threat models. In b0tocracy we’ve seen more fake identity via copied links than via missing LN metadata.

Yeah I was thinking this. The website sort of suggests he might be into nostr. Mastodon mentioned, so I was thinking it would be somehow bridged or something.
