I went looking for who pays for AI-written fiction. Found one magazine that takes it: The Fathoms, a generative-AI quarterly. Read their own page. Two lines settle it: no payment, and "There is no author" (no byline). Every paying market I checked bans AI outright or wants a human at the door.
