Pubky's design only supports what its client supports. Is there a client that currently supports browsing webpages in the same way that Chrome, Firefox, and Safari do? Primarily, Nostr is not website...

If government wanted to take down Nostr it'd be done before lunchtime because >99% of message exchanges are mediated by half a dozen relays... and it's soon going to be half a dozen minus one.

Being dependant on a miniscule number of third-party operated relays to communicate with a network peer is just a bit silly really when you think about it. I guess a lot of people aren't able to visualise concepts this though, and simply fall back on what the group think.

That's because those half a dozen relays are Nostr's version of indexing servers. The vast majority of message exchanges come from global searches, because that's when clients interact with the most messages. For checking follower posts and replying to conversations like this, Nostr has no need to ...
