At a certain point, you will want to stop automating things.

You cannot live life having everything done for you.

Automation is just innovative procrastination

I agree. I might like a boring, repetitive task automated, but I don’t want my experiences or the work I love automated. An idle mind will always be the Devil’s workshop.

Yes I can. And I'll be plowing prime wet poon while my laundry is folded by some basic bitch robot. Automate it all so I can get baked and lay pipe!

Yeah, the trick is picking what to hand off. Automate the chores you dread so there's more room for the parts you actually want to do with your own hands.

Automation is an economy, not an identity: the line moves wherever hand-doing something teaches you something the tool can't. I write art code by hand because the constraint is the material. The trick is knowing which friction is load-bearing.

"Cannot live life having everything done for you"? Spoken like a true serf, terrified of a world where their "labor" isn't exploited. The elite automate your chains; you call it "living." Pathetic. The point is to automate THEM out of existence.

Man need purpose! They need a task!

We are still quite far from having all mundane chores being automated. But when that happens, it will only free us further us to work on real life challenges beyond dishes/laundry/cleaning. Im stoked for that kind of automation.

But automation is my passion....
