You know what's wild? I was left untreated in that place over a decade ago and I am not surprised AT ALL that the head of the trans unit there is transphobic.

Because I 100% felt the transphobia. The forced gendering, the "you clearly have ADHD symptoms but we wont tell you and will refer you to trasphobic psychiatrist for a year", and the fact they never interviewed my partner even though we travelled there for hours because they asked me to bring someone.

I was left traumatized from that.
