You can lie all you want. The fact is no reputable source thinks 14k civilians died in the Donbas before 2022.
Russia of course claims otherwise. But Russians are guilty of mass murder, including on the Donbas region, so their lies can be dismissed.
Hell, two days after I last visited Sloviansk, Donetsk, Russia used multiple shahed drones to attack the same passenger train I would have taken if my friend's car had broken down sooner. And that same train was the scene of a massacre in 2022 when Russia bomed Kramatorsk station when it was full of civilians fleeing Russia's invasion.
