Libertarians will use emotional appeal to control you. It's not force by their definition. But they will trick you into behaving in the way they want you to behave. In their mind, you made the choice to be fooled by them. They may not be the agressor, but they will definitely control you.

To "convince someone of something" is ok, from a libertarian (voluntarist) point of view, indeed. As long as there is not fraud or any form of aggression involved, I don't really see a problem there ๐Ÿ™

*too often. But that says more about the individual than Libertarianism writ large. The philosophy does lack widespread understanding / consideration of subtlecoercion force, fraud, and coercion, but accurately defines the boundaries of moral behavior.
