Shill me some Linux distros.

I’ve dual booted Ubuntu for many years, but now I’ve got a thinkpad that will be Linux only and might try something new.

X1 Carbon 16Gb/512Gb/i7

Most of my experience is with Windows for work and MacOS for personal use.

If you are comfortable with Ubuntu, give Debian a go. You already know a lot about it from using Ubuntu!

Has anyone in this thread tried Qubes? https://www.qubes-os.org/

Use debian and install the desktop you like most. I used KDE and Xfce for many years

Stay Debian based and just try new GUIs?

Switch it up and go with Fedora. Perfect mix between up to date stuff and stability

I will be completely honest with you, I will never go back to PC after experiencing a MacBook Pro M1, but my #2 will definitely go to ThinkPads and either Debian Stable or Ubuntu LTS 🙌 I hope this helps.
