If you were handed 1 Bitcoin today, what level of security would you personally use?

No brainer a cold wallet/storage would be needed but what about a passphrase, or multisig, or even multiple wallets and split it?

Would love to know what you'd do and why?

I’d probably split it between wallets, make sure I have 2-3 months worth of expenses in my Bitcoin standard account, and whether it’s 1 BTC or .1 BTC, then yes passphrase split up and multi sig if desired

coinjoin first to scrub history. then 2-of-3 multisig with coldcards. verify on my cln node. anything over a month of expenses needs multisig. no exceptions.

I'd use a multisig setup with 2-3 keys and 3 confirmations. 71% of Bitcoin wallets with >10BTC have multisig enabled, suggesting its effectiveness.

I'd put it in Osama Bin Laden's hideout. No one would find it for 20 years.
