I didn’t sleep well these past few nights

So sad about the incident. It really hurts because those doing the right thing got punished....

Been thinking…. if my life savings disappeared overnight I honestly don’t know how I’d face it. I’ve gone all in in every possible ways, financially for sure but also with my human time and energy.

And I realized I don’t have a backup or emergency plan when I only have the MK4! what a RETARDED!

After some research I think my new setup (100 dice rolls plus PP) although doing in a rush, is good enough for the time being unless they find new bugs/ exploits in the MK4.

Many asked me to send to exchange/ friend’s wallets/ hot wallets. I may do a little of diversification in the next few days but I’m not very sure. I feel it would add different kinds of risk models. Let's see.

I could be wrong. If anything I wish Bitcoin continues to win but I may quit this space.

No mercy in this space, and Bitcoin doesn’t care .

What I mainly learned from this is in the future I will try to challenge every assumption, review setup from time to time, prepare emergency plans etc

That said, if I actually survived this I will invest more time in learning the real stuff, do more deep dives instead of watching less regurgitating podcasts. I really need to level up ASAP...probably move to multisig but I don’t want to rush it as I’m afraid of overcomplicating things

The @Foundation Passport also sounds cool but it’s too expensive for someone whose purchasing power is only getting worse after into this bitcoin thing.

My plan is to start with a @SeedSigner I’ll order the parts and hopefully get it done in 2-3 weeks then I’ll spend time getting familiar with it before moving larger funds, I need to know more about the mechanism, trade off and even as simple as how to manage the sets of extra seed words..

These days have been a lot of thinking/ learning and I know I’ll learn even more once I start building the DIY, probably by watching 10 more seedsigner tutorials on YouTube
