Vertical hasn't won. It's just the most common because it's easiest for people who don't know how to take photos and videos. If I see a vertical video or photo, I automatically discount it as low quality.

Vertical has won... on mobile phones. As far as I know, computer screens and TVs are still horizontal. GM 🫂
