There’s a particularly strong type of delusional world that Knots BIP 110 HODLers live in.
They want Bitcoin to be money while also not spending it.
They’re worried about what’s on the blockchain but they also don’t want to incentivize miners by transacting on the blockchain.
So they want empty to small blocks with little to no miners hashing the actual transactions to be sent to the nodes to verify.
While I agree that Bitcoin core has some moral dilemmas they need to address, Bitcoin core is more correct in their technical argument, Bitcoin is a Permission-less Censorship-Resistant P2P Digital CASH system.
The knots people want to control how you use Bitcoin.
Using Bitcoin to pay a legal OF model, can’t have that because “you’re spamming the Blockchain”.
Using Bitcoin to buy weed, can’t have that because “You’re spamming the blockchain”.
Rinse, and repeat.
Guns, Homosexuality, Abortion, etc.
