LUKS is pretty kino. I ran LUKS+ext4 or btrfs for years. These days I just use ZFS-on-linux native encryption. ZFSbootloader is so much better than GRUB for full-disk encryption too. Did you hear about VeraCrypt (the active TrueCrypt fork) getting their publishing certs for Win11 revoked? TrueCrypt...
