What do you guys do with your books from college/university?

I got stacks of math, physics and statistics books that I'll probably never read again.

But still, I dished out probably thousads of dollars (overpriced as hell) these books, and worked my ass off studying them...

And maybe there is some sentimental or identity value to them aswell..?

It's like there is a connection to the past and the knowledge as long as I keep the books.

Like, I can go look up stuff and "refresh", though realistically I've probably forgot most of it.

But if I throw the books away... then it's like its gone for good?

Idk, can anyone relate?

Keep the absolute favorites as trophies of what you conquered. The rest? Maybe pass them down to the next g...

Know what you mean, but it doesn’t have to be zero or one. I’ve thrown away, donated, or given away quite a few of those books, but I kept a few that I really liked or that have an emotional connection or special memories for me.

I can totally relate. I also still have quite a lot of my (Paper!) Dictionaries, grammar books, linguistics and politics/ economics books around. I started sorting them out and reselling some for a few bucks. But I’m definitely keeping my paper dictionaries for now just for the sentimental value. ...

Digit helped people pirate PDFs of her college textbooks while she taught everyone little bits of neurology and stuff. She was decentralizing college. Nostr and the world need her so badly and I'm still terrified wondering why she's been gone so long
