I've beaten the game pre and post release and I only have 45o hours in it over about five playthroughs, and with a lot of fucking around on a friend's home-hosted server. It's really not that long of a game, all things considered.

Also, it's not Pokemon w/ guns, it's Ark with Pokemon. When you look at it that way the game makes a lot more sense.

I can't even fathom beating the 1.0 full campaign in 45 hours with no mods. I guess having an extra person or more is a big factor.
