I've been a Bitcoiner for way to long without having my own node.
That's about to change.
I'm looking at laptops with the right specs. Any suggestions and things to keep in mind while I shop?
Will the laptop be running constantly? The synching every time you turn off for a while might be annoying.. Also running something on the background can interfere with your UX, browser and applications might get slow.
Lenovo with QubesOS (or with Linux) is always the gold standard. (You can also use coreboot). If the machine will only do mining, you could use Gentoo Linux and chose with USE Flags what to compile your kernel and libraries with - then you get more out of your dollars.
