In October 2024 I started tracking every biomarker I could measure. Blood glucose and ketones daily with a Fora 6 Connect device. Full blood panels every quarter. Blood pressure, weight, body composition weekly.

18 months and thousands of measurements later, here is what I learned.

**1. Trends matter more than snapshots.**

A single blood test is a photograph. Three blood tests over 9 months are a movie. I only understood my cholesterol trajectory after the third panel. One reading told me nothing.

This is why Sovereign Health Intelligence tracks rolling averages, 7-day and 30-day views, and phase comparisons. A single number is not health data. A trajectory is.

**2. Calculated markers reveal what single markers hide.**

GKI (glucose-ketone index) combines glucose and ketones into one number. It told me more about my metabolic flexibility than either marker alone. Same with TG/HDL ratio for cardiovascular risk, and HOMA-IR for insulin resistance.

SHI calculates these automatically from your inputs. The Fora 6 measures glucose and ketones. SHI calculates GKI. You measure triglycerides and HDL. SHI calculates the ratio. More insight from the same data.

**3. Protocol context changes everything.**

My LDL went up on carnivore. A standard app would flag it. But my TG/HDL ratio improved, my inflammation markers (CRP, IL-6) dropped, and my fasting insulin halved. The context changed the interpretation completely.

**4. Your data changes the conversation with your doctor.**

When I brought 18 months of glucose trends, ketone correlations, and inflammation markers to my doctor, the conversation shifted. Not "your LDL is high." Instead: "your metabolic markers look excellent."

Your data. Your narrative. Not a snapshot someone else interprets for you.

**5. A spreadsheet does not scale.**

I hit 500 rows in month 4. Formulas broke. Charts were unusable. That was when I started building what became Sovereign Health Intelligence.
