Sometimes I get DMs asking if I want to open a balanced channel. It’s interesting that if I say no, the person doesn’t open to me anyway. If you don’t think my node is a good peer, why offer the balanced channel? If you just want inbound, I’ll sell it to you and you don’t need to lock up any funds.
