Just do the original FF7. Best one and if you’re going to spend the time might as well do that one.

VII if you have where to play

2 (4 in Japan), 3 (6 in Japan), or 7. There is no continuity to the games...FF is more a stylistic and gameplay mark of quality.

My first was FFX and it was an awesome introduction. Was totally engrossed in the story. I’ve heard FF7 has just as good a story but I’ve never taken the dive. I got the remastered version 2 years ago for Christmas and it’s still in the plastic 😆

Start with FF7. Its best introduction into FF world.

Been a FF fan since the OG on the NES. 10 is a good intro. I really enjoyed 12 as well.

FF VII

Probably FFX. I find it to be user friendly, and a nice mix of old and new. FFVI is the best in my opinion.

depends on what you are looking for. If you don't mind the dated game design and structure, my favourites are 6, 5, and 4 these were the golden age FFs. You can get them as a collection in the Pixel Remasters. These games were way ahead of its time. Then of course people are talking about 7, it's ...
