More than 600 political prisoners have reportedly been released in Venezuela since January. That matters. But freedom is not a revolving door, and justice is not selective. Every political prisoner must be released. Torture centers must be closed. Repression must end. Venezuela does not need gestures. Venezuela needs a real democratic transition.
